Last weekend! Historical knights to fantastical fairies at the NH Renaissance Faire!
The NH Renaissance Faire is a family friendly, educational, visual, theatrical and fantastical event held in gorgeous Brookvale Pines Farm in Freemont NH (new location!).
From historical knights to fantastical fairies, NHRF brings together education and fun for the whole family. Our merchants are mainly local artisans with an emphasis on hand made items including costumes, jewelry, pottery, herbals, weaponry, and more. Not sure what to wear when you come to faire? Should you dress up as nobility, a wizard, a warrior, or perhaps a traveler from the future?!
NH Renaissance Faire’s mission is to help our neighbors in need. We are able to donate to charity because of the dedication and help of all the faire volunteers, performers and participants who give of their time and talents as well as the patrons who attend and show their support! Festival Daily Themes
- May 11: Game of Thrones day. Look out for dragons!
- May 12: Fairies and Wizards. NHRF, a realm of magic!
- May 18: Pirates and Barbarians. Time to play dirty!
- May 19: Steampunk and Time Travelers. Nice airship!
Event Activities
Children’s Glen
Games, crafts and fun activities for the kiddies! Let them test their coordination on our Jacob’s Ladder.
Archery Range
NHRF is happy to announce that Archery at the Three Maples will be run by JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development). Come try your hand at our range. Free to play, but donations to JOAD are encouraged!
Craft Demonstrations
Many of our merchants will also be demonstrating their craft at their booths, such as weaving, leather work and jewelry making. Enjoy the various live craft demonstrations throughout the faire.
Encampment Demonstrations
Visit the knights from the Brotherhood of the Arrow & Sword in the backfield and check out their camp, armor and weapons. They are happy to answer all your questions (and the kids love to get their picture taken with them!) Or if you’re feeling brave, visit our pirates and gypsies and see what trouble they’re up to!
Charity Wench & Lad Auction
Bid on goods donated from our vendors (and a few other gracious souls!) and modeled by our strapping lads and lovely wenches! Every penny goes to one of this year’s chosen charities. See schedule for times and locations.
Bellydance Lesson
Learn to bellydance with the Shimmynanigans!
Zoo Creatures
Exotic pets including fish, birds, reptiles and small mammals and pet services.
Event Admission
- $15.00 for adults
- $10.00 for kids ( 5 – 12 years old)
- $5.00 off for active military or veterans with IDs and seniors (65+)
