Join the fun at a local sugar house for Annual Maple Weekend! Sugar makers statewide will open their doors inviting the public to share in the centuries-old craft of maple sugaring. Many will be offering free samples of fresh syrup, as well as samples of maple candies and confections, coffee and doughnuts. Some locations have pancake breakfasts, petting farms or horse-drawn rides.

The Maine Maple Producers Association welcomes you to join Maine’s Maple Syrup Producers, statewide, as they celebrate Maine Maple Sunday. Most sugar houses offer free maple syrup samples and demonstrations on how pure Maine maple syrup is made. Many farms offer games, activities, treats, sugar bush tours, music, and so much more.
Maine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March although some sugar houses are offering events for both Saturday and Sunday. Please be sure to read the description of each sugar house to know what times they will be open and the activities they offer.
