Fiber Revival Festival & Vintage Baseball at Spencer-Pierce Little Farm 8/11!

Two events for the price of one! Spencer-Pierce Little Farm is hosting a Vintage Baseball game AND the Fiber Revival Festival! Come on down to the farm and enjoy a day of educational and fun family activities. Great food, too!

Fiber Revival Festival!

Join the Newburyport Spinners Guild and Historic New England for a daylong exploration of fiber arts, featuring demonstrations of hand-spinning, weaving, metalwork, alpaca and sheep husbandry, rug making, and knitting.

Try your hand at washing, combing, spinning, and weaving wool from our resident sheep. Vendors offer a variety of natural fibers, yarns, and equipment. Learn more about workshops, events, and vendors.

There is an additional fee for workshop participation. The 1690 stone and brick manor house is open from noon to 3:00 p.m., and breakfast, lunch, and snacks are available for purchase.

Vintage Baseball Triple-Header!

Stay and watch the Vintage Base Ball Fiber Revival Cup, a triple-header with the coveted gold yarn trophy at stake!

Enjoy traditional New England music and cheer on your favorite team as the Lynn Live Oaks play the Portsmouth Rockinghams and the Lowell BBC takes on out-of-towners Neshanock Base Ball Club of Flemington. These teams take the field playing with 1860s rules. Snacks, baseballs, and cards are available for purchase.

Grass field seating: bring blankets and lawn chairs. No reserved seating. In partnership with the Newburyport Spinners Guild, the Essex Base Ball Association, and Ipswich Ale Brewery.
