Join Historic New England educators for summer activities in the summer cottage, house, and gardens of Hamilton House, ideal for children ages 4 to 10. Each week offers a Story Walk, hands-on activities and art projects to foster creativity, and lots of fun involving the history of the house and landscape.
A house tour designed especially for families starts at 11:30am. Families are encouraged to pack a snack and enjoy a summer day much like the Elizabeth and Elise Tyson and their good friend Sarah Orne Jewett did at the turn of the twentieth century.
This is a drop-in program. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
