Celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day” at the Dover Public Library on 2/2!

Join the Dover Public Library to celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day”. They have planned lots of fun activities, crafts, and raffles for families with young children.

Special activities
  • Pancakes made by the librarians, served from 9am-11am in the Storytime Room
  • Crafts to make and take in the Children’s Room
  • Raffles including a special raffle for any child getting his/her first library card

This program is free and open to the public. 

“Take Your Child to the Library Day” is a free, fun, family-friendly event. It is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library. It was originally launched in Connecticut and is endorsed by the Association for Library Service to Children (a division of the American Library Association), Reach Out and Read, and Read to Grow.
