Newmarket Halloween Haunt

Newmarket Rec Center

1 Terrace Dr.
Newmarket, NH 03857

The creepiest community event of the year is coming spookily quick. Be sure to mark your calendar for SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th for our ANNUAL HALLOWEEN HAUNT located at The Newmarket Community Center (The Rec Center) and Leo Landroche Field. There will be arts and crafts, scary snacks, ghoulish games, costume parade/contest, and harvest fun for everyone!

2 PM:  GATES OPEN at THE REC CENTER " $5/child suggested donation.

If you think this event is scary, you should see our candy bill! We hope you’ll understand as much as we would love to keep this event FREE to all who enter, we unfortunately have not raised enough money in the past few years from our “Fun”d raising activities at the event to offset all the costs associated with the event (including trolleys), therefore we are going to be asking for a $5/child entrance free this year, or $10/per family. (Babies 12 months and under free)

REGISTER FOR THE COSTUME CONTEST from 1:45pm-3:15pm!! Age Categories: Baby, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten " 1st, 2nd " 3rd, 4th " 6th, Teen, Adult, and Best Family Theme. Prizes vary each year " based on donations we receive and will be awarded to winners who showed creativity or just oozed Halloween spirit. Be sure to register at the Costume Judging Booth after 1:45pm " and/or before 3:15pm

Halloween Haunt Spooktacular Themed Activities will commence INSIDE the Rec Center Complex! Please make sure that strollers stay outside to leave lots of room for everyone inside.

As always, there will be tons of fun, somewhat spooky activities, games, candy & prizes!

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Unfortunately, weather is always a gamble; due to the new location at the Leo Landroche fields near the Community Center we now have the ability to move many of the activities into the Rec Center if there is rain. This is a Rain or Shine event-NO RAIN DATE. Log onto our website for further details regarding the Halloween Haunt for any last updates and/or check our Facebook Page.
