Join Playful Garden's Wildflower Class on Wednesday August 14th 10am @ VFF as we welcome SPECIAL GUEST Marissa Collier to help us exlore Fairy Tales, Fairy Houses, and Fairy Fires.

Each week Playful Garden will offer something new! Drop in or pre-register Wednesday mornings for 40 minutes of an engaging group activity on the farm. After we get our bodies and our minds moving, join our Free Rangers class, open to all ages, for a story, songs and some nature play.

Marissa Collier

Early Childhood Educator and Forest Kindergarten Leader at Chesterbrook School of Natural Learning, will gather with friends, around a fire fit for a fairy. We will start this class by reading a story about fairy homes. We will talk about fire safety as Miss Marissa lights our fairy fire and we set out to find nature materials we will need to construct our homes.

What will you use to build a home for the fairies; sticks, stones, moss, leaves, flowers, seashells, rocks, and pine cones? We will work in small groups to start our building. When everyone is done, we will go on a quiet stroll and have those who want to share can explain their home to us!

Children and caregivers are invited to join us for a Wildflowers class and stay for Free Rangers class for FREE!

$10 for first child
$15 for two children
$20 per family of 3 or more.

All Ages Welcome!

Wildflowers Class - 10am

Classes held at: Vernon Family Farm 301 Piscassic Rd, Newfields, NH 03856

Playful Garden believes in child-led open play that starts with a story, ends with a song, and has a whole lot of play and discovery in between. This nature based exploration will have us climbing, digging, cooking, creating and more! This type of play will allow the child to investigate their ideas while exploring impulses. Caregivers and facilitators can ask thought provoking questions and provide tools in a way that still lets the child lead, inquire, and discover for themselves. Being immersed in nature, we will get to experience the changing of the seasons and the different materials and weather they offer.

*Check our Facebook page for the rare occurrence that we would have to cancel
