BBQ Aplenty At The 5th Annual Celebrate Maine Festival This Weekend!

The 5th Annual “Celebrate Maine Festival” is happening in Eliot this Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8 featuring the Mainely Grillin’ & Chillin’ BBQ Competition! This year brings lots of fun for the family with the popular children’s area, live continuous entertainment, artisans, green expo and marketplace, Raitt farm barrel tractor rides and the BBQ competition.

The Children’s Corner opens with the free games, rock wall climbing, creativity table and wagon rides. Other activities for a nominal fee are face painting, barrel tractor rides and the Bouncy House. The Colonial encampment will be set up down at the end of the parking lot for everyone to visit as part of Eliot’s 200 year Celebration. Visit artisans, marketplace and the green expo as well as the Shipyard Brew Garden, Wymans and Cabot Creamery Booths. Live Entertainment will be on stage and plenty of homemade food will be available the entire weekend.  Bean whole Beans will once again be made as well as the world famous homemade strawberry shortcake. Both will once again be available until we run out! 

Cost $5 per person, children 12 and under, free.
