“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

– Winnie The Pooh

After ten incredible years of sharing my ideas, family fun and local activities on SeacoastKidsCalendar.com, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close the website so that I may focus on the next chapter of new things to come.

I started SKC in 2010 as a resource for parents to not only find fun family events, but to learn more about what our amazing Seacoast community had to offer. At the time, I had two kids at home, 3 and 4 years old. I needed this information for myself just as much as anyone. Over the past ten years, I have met so many wonderful people and worked with the area’s best businesses and organizations. My heart and mind have been fulfilled both emotionally and professionally.

As my kids have grown older (one is high school now—what?) and I’m not in the throes of sippie cups and PBS (although at times, I truly miss those days), I’ve realized it’s time to pass the baton. I have loved every single second of running this website and I look forward to seeing what’s next in the Seacoast’s parenting community. For now, I want to say thank you to our thousands of readers and committed advertisers who have made this all possible. It is because of you that I was able spin this casual idea into a successful reality.

Much love to you, Seacoast!

From my family to yours, wishing you the very best!

Best,
